Video Formats, eg .mov, avi | Video formats are used to encode or compress video data. |
Streaming | Streaming media is multi media that is constantly recieved by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider. We now have live streaming which means taking the media and broadcasting it live over the internet. |
File Compression | File compression allows users to make one or more files into a small zip file. |
Aspect Ratios: 4:3, 16:9 | Aspect ratio is the ratio of the width of the image to its height. No matter how big the image is if the width is divided in to (x)units of equal length and the height is measured using the same lenghth unit, the height will be measured to be (y) units. Aspect ratio are commonly used today in the presentation of fillms in movie theatres, the most common videographic aspect ratio are 4:3, the universal video format of the 20th century and 16:9 baiscally meaning high definition TV |
Frame Rates | is the frequency (rate) at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames. |
